Supporting administrative work, within confidentiality rules and with appropriate authorization.
AAM is building a network of volunteers and university ambassadors who work under organizational policies and supervision.
Volunteers may contribute to:

Making information and documents accessible across languages.
Helping organize campaigns and events.
Telling AAM’s story responsibly, with consent and privacy safeguards.
Following medical developments and access barriers.
Institutional outreach, event organization and community development.
University and youth ambassadors represent AAM in universities, medical schools, research institutions, youth organizations, professional networks and local communities.
Ambassadors operate under organizational policies and supervision.
Volunteers must not independently provide medical advice.
Volunteers access sensitive patient information only with authorization and appropriate training.
Everyone works under organizational policies and supervision.
AAM establishes mentorship relationships with experienced professionals.
We’ll get back to you with next steps as AAM’s volunteer and ambassador programs open.
