AAM is youth-led by design, and its community starts with the people who choose to build it. The volunteer and ambassador programs are now open to expressions of interest.
Volunteers
Volunteers can contribute to patient administration, translation, fundraising, communications, research support, institutional outreach, event organization and community development.
University and youth ambassadors
Ambassadors represent AAM in universities, medical schools, research institutions, youth organizations, professional networks and local communities — raising awareness, organizing fundraising, identifying potential partners and supporting recruitment.
Ground rules
- Volunteers never provide medical advice.
- Access to sensitive patient information requires authorization and appropriate training.
- Everyone works under organizational policies and supervision.
- Experienced professionals mentor the community.
